All
deposits are held by Southern Soaring Ltd to confirm flight or
accommodation bookings. The deposit system is designed to ensure that
the necessary aircraft and personnel are available to visitors when
they arrive.
Deposits will
be returned in full in the event of cancellation more than 4 weeks
prior to the booking date. Cancellations must be sent by e-mail or fax.
We do not hold credit card details on file for security reasons.
Cancellations between 2 days and 4 weeks prior to the booking date will
result in 50% of the deposit being refunded. Any cancellation less than
2 days prior to the booking date will result in the loss of the deposit.
The balance
of all charges will need to be paid prior to the customer leaving
Omarama and Southern Soaring Ltd may need a credit card authorisation
in order to provide services to the customer.
Southern
Soaring will acknowledge the receipt of all deposits and bookings by
e-mail (or fax if requested).
An indemnity
and waiver form must be signed by all customers flying with Southern
Soaring. Visiting pilots will be responsible for an insurance excess in
the event of certain categories of accident and must attend a briefing
session prior to flying. A check flight is mandatory for new visiting
pilots who wish to fly single seater aircraft. Log books should be
produced by all visiting pilots.
Charges are
in New Zealand dollars.
Southern
Soaring reserves the right to change prices without notice. Prices
include New Zealand GST.
